O čem je náš projekt:

Romský název projektu „Džas dureder“ znamená v češtině „jdeme dál“. Vycházíme z toho, že pro motivaci jakýchkoliv dětí a tedy možnost „jít dál“ je třeba, aby zažívaly úspěch a cítily přijetí. Romské a další sociálně znevýhodněné děti však zažívají ve škole od počátku školní docházky často pravý opak. V rámci projektu proto navazujeme na dlouholeté zkušenosti Nové školy, o. p. s., že při dostatečné podpoře dětí v přípravě na školu ve školním i domácím prostředí a při dostatečné, vstřícné a respektující komunikaci s jejich rodiči, je možné to zvrátit. Tím se úměrně zvyšuje motivace dětí k práci ve škole a k setrvání ve vzdělávání.

Ohniskem projektu jsou dvě pracovní místa (asistentky pedagoga a školní asistentky - vždy na 0,5 úv.) v ZŠ Krásná lípa a dvě v ZŠ J. Vohradského ve Šluknově.

Asistentky, které se po celou dobu projektu spolu s vedením škol a spolupracujícími učiteli účastní metodických setkání a dalšího vzdělávání, výrazně navyšují kapacity škol podpořit sociálně znevýhodněné žáky. Kromě individuální podpory s přípravou do školy ve školním i domácím prostředí, pomáhají asistentky také s organizací motivačních volnočasových aktivit během roku i školních prázdnin na půdě školy nebo ve spolupráci se zapojenými NNO.

V rámci projektu realizujeme nebo budeme realizovat:

  • odpolední kluby, kde si mladší žáci procvičí potřebné učivo, doplní úkoly a také si trochu pohrají, aby se měli na co těšit
  • workshopy s fotografy spolku 400 ASA, jejichž cílem není naučit starší žáky profesionálně fotit, ale seznámit je se základy řemesla a zajímavými osobnostmi, které jim pomohou znázornit svět kolem nich prostřednictvím fotografie. Žáci si vyzkouší dlouhodobější systematickou práci směřující ke konkrétnímu a hmatatelnému cíli a budou mít možnost zažít pocit úspěchu. Nejlepší díla budou vystavena nejprve lokálně na Šluknovsku a následně v Praze, v prostorách galerie 400 ASA za účasti dětí i rodičů.
  • besedy s romskými studenty, stipendisty organizace Romea, kteří žákům ZŠ ukazují, že i sociálně znevýhodněné děti to mohou někam dotáhnout, a že se mají kam obrátit pro pomoc
  • čtení romských autorů, kteří seznámí účastníky se zajímavými tématy a představí žákům, rodičům i pedagogům škol romštinu jako plnohodnotný a krásný jazyk
  • tzv. rodičovské kavárny - setkání romských rodičů s pedagogy školy, jejichž cílem je mimo jiné posilovat interkulturní dialog a vztah učitelů s romskými žáky a jejich rodiči v neformálním prostředí

What is our project about:

The meaning of the Roma expression „Džas dureder“ is „we are going further“. The idea is that for motivation of any children and their possibility of „going further“ it is necessary that they experience success and respect.
From the beginning of their school attendance however Roma children as well as other socially disadvantaged children often experience the very opposite. In this project we use the long-standing experience of Nová škola, o. p. s. – it is possible to change the above mentioned situation if the children are sufficiently supported during their preparation for school at school as well as at home and if the communication with their parents is open and respectful. Having this the children´s motivation for work is increasing as well as their willingness to stay at the process of education.
The core of the project is represented by two work positions (pedagogical assistants and school assistants each working 20 hours/week) at the Primary School in Krásná Lípa and two work positions at J. Vohradský Primary School in Šluknov.
Assistants that together with the school directors and cooperating teachers will participate in methodical meetings and further education will considerably increase the capacity of the schools to support socially disadvantaged children. Beside the individual support both at school and at home the assistants help organize motivating leisure activities during the school year as well as on holidays.

These activities will take place at school or in connection with the involved NGOs. In the frame of the project we carry out or will carry out following activities:

  • afternoon clubs where the younger pupils will practise the curriculum, do homework and play so that they have someting to look forward to
  • workshops with photographers from the 400 ASA club. The goal is not to teach the pupils to take pictures at a professional level but to introduce to them the basis of the skill, to encounter interesting personalities that will show them the world around with the help of photography. The pupils will try out systematical work leading to a tangible result and they will have the opportunity to experience success. The best works will be exhibited at first locally in the Šluknov area and then in Prague in the 400 ASA gallery where children and their parents will be invited.
  • meetings with Roma students, grantees of the Romea organization who show the pupils that even socially disadvantaged children can achieve something and that there is where to ask for help
  • Roma author readings that introduce interesting topics and present the Roma language as a full-value and beautiful language to the children, their parents as well as the to the teachers
  • the so called parent cafés – meetings of Roma parents and the school teachers. The goal is to strengthen the intercultural dialogue and realtionship between the teachers and Roma pupils and their parents in a casual environment.
